The open-plan design and modern kitchen create a spacious living area ideal for entertaining, while you’re all set with SKY, internet, phone connections, and a security panel to communicate with and grant access to visitors. Each apartment includes a luxurious master ensuite and a separate guest toilet, with some options offering two full bathrooms.
A heat pump and double-glazing ensure comfort throughout the year, and with a 6 Homestar Built rating, our apartments are warmer, healthier, and more energy-efficient than typical new homes, saving you money on running costs.
Our stunning community centre is now open, featuring a gym, café, cinema, library, bar, crafts room, lounge, and an al fresco dining and BBQ area. Plus, Awatere boasts a beautiful new bowling green, perfect for a friendly game with your neighbours.
Care Suites provide both Rest Home and Hospital level care, which means you can relax knowing you won’t have the upheaval of moving again if your needs increase. Choose from either a studio Care Suite with an open-plan bedroom and lounge, or a one-bedroom Care Suite with a separate bedroom and living area. Some Care Suites are large enough to accommodate couples, so you can be together – even if one of you requires Hospital level care.
All Care Suites have a heat pump and full en-suite bathroom, as well as a kitchenette with a fridge and a kettle – perfect for making a cuppa when friends and family come to visit. We also have options with private balconies and/or patios.
You own the right to occupy your Care Suite, so you can personalise it with your favourite furniture and treasured pieces. A DHB assessment is not required for care that is paid for privately.
A Couples Care Suite offers the same assistance and comfort as an individual suite, but with the reassurance of having a loved one right by your side.
With a more spacious layout, Couples Care Suites are designed to keep you together; offering Rest Home and Hospital level care to suit both of your ongoing individual needs*.
With your one-bedroom suite, you’ll enjoy a private ensuite, separate living area and very own kitchenette. But feel free to bring along your own home comforts to really make the space your own.
*Specialist dementia care (secure dementia care or psychogeriatric care) is not available in a Couples Care Suite.
